— After all this time?
— Always.
There are times when it seems as if this world is a well-masked piece of our reality.
It is simply mesmerizing to see how JK Rowling creates a magical world. It is our dream to visit Diagon Alley and find our own wand in Ollivander’s Wand Shop.
It is our dream to go to the Quidditch World Cup and find out which house the sorting hat will place us in.
The lights get dimmer, notes of Hedwig’s theme play in the background as the Warner Brothers' logo appears on screen and just like that we’re transported back to 2001.
You heard that right, it’s been 23 years since the release of the first Harry Potter movie. I don’t know about you but I still check my mailbox hoping to find my Hogwarts letter.
The series will always hold a special place in our hearts; here are 5 (out of a million) reasons why:
let's remember
It’s LeviOsa,
not LeviosAR
Obliviate
Obliviate, more commonly known as Memory Modification is used to make witches, wizards, or even muggles forget sections of their memory, either large or small. It may be used on a muggle if they come to know any information that is important or dangerous to wizarding security, or if they suspect magical acts.
Lumos
The Wand-Lighting Charm is a charm that illuminated the tip of the caster’s wand, allowing the caster to see in the dark. The charm could be used to reveal magically hidden things.
Expecto Patronum
The Patronus Charm is an immensely complicated and extremely difficult spell that channel the caster’s positive emotions into a powerful protection and evoked a partially-tangible positive energy force known as a Patronus. It is the primary protection against Dementors.
Riddikulus
The spell that defeats a Boggart can be tricky, because it involves making the creature into a figure of fun, so that fear can be dispelled in amusement. If the caster is able to laugh aloud at the Boggart, it will disappear at once.

Whether it’s Lily’s unconditional love for Harry that saved his life or the unbreakable bond that Ron, Harry and Hermoine shared — the series taught us that when you have your loved one’s by you, there’s no obstacle you can’t overcome. Even if that hurdle is Lord Voldemort himself.
